ALEJO KAHLE
From the very start, we’ve been working with Alejo, a fifth-generation coffee farmer whose family has been growing coffee in Costa Rica for over 200 years. On the volcanic slopes of Barva, Poás, and Los Santos, Alejo carefully tends to his coffee trees, cultivating special varieties like Geisha, SL-28, Villasarchi, and Caturra.
Every harvest is handled with care—using washed, honey, and natural processes—to bring out flavors that are rich, unique, and true to the land where they’re grown. Beyond coffee, Alejo and his family protect hundreds of hectares of forest and rainforest in Costa Rica, ensuring nature thrives alongside their crops.
Each cup is a reflection of this dedication: crafted with tradition, care for the land, and a genuine love of great coffee.
