LAS PERLITAS FRUITY

Carefully selected coffee blend from Huila, Colombia, produced by a network of smallholder farmers and sourced by The Coffee Quest. The name “Las Perlitas,” meaning “little pearls,” refers to the small, high-quality lots contributed by individual producers, which are combined to create a consistent and expressive profile. Grown at elevations ranging from approximately 1,600 to 2,000 meters above sea level, the coffee benefits from ideal high-altitude conditions that support slow cherry maturation and enhanced flavor development.

This washed coffee is composed of a mix of traditional and modern Colombian varieties, including Geisha, Pink Bourbon, and Chiroso. Each variety contributes its own characteristics to the final cup, resulting in a balanced yet vibrant expression. The selection process focuses on lots with pronounced fruit qualities, and careful attention is given to harvesting, fermentation, and washing to preserve clarity and brightness. Behind this lot are dedicated farmers like Deiro Gasca, Lizardo Imbachi, Erik Bravo, and Delfin Carvajal.
