We were looking for a people’s coffee for quite some time, and when we found this beautiful Honduras lot, we knew it was exactly what we wanted to share. Good quality, great price, super clean in the cup, and incredibly easy to enjoy every day.

This coffee works beautifully both as espresso and filter. It has enough sweetness and body to be comforting, while still staying clean and balanced. If you are not a fan of vibrant fruity flavours and prefer a more classic, smooth, chocolatey profile, this beautiful cup will easily become your everyday pleaser.

Expect comforting notes of milk chocolate, dried fruit, white flower with a soft honey sweetness and clean finish.

ABOUT

Ceiba is a tree originally from Central America. The Mayans considered this impressive tree as a "sacred tree". On the other hand, in Honduras there is a department called Ceiba as well, known as "Ceiba la bella". Café Ceiba comes from several producers in the Marcala region, La Paz department and is 100% organic.

This coffee is grown in the Marcala region of Honduras. Organically grown, it is the fruit of the work of several partner producers of COMSA (Café Organico Marcala), with whom we have been working since 2018. COMSA's approach is based on sustainability. The cooperative supports producers who want to set up organic farming, to make the transition from conventional farming to more environmentally friendly farming.
The producers who make up COMSA regularly receive courses in coffee tasting and farming. The cooperative also subsidises the education of children in the community to support future generations.
